I am back home and once again at my keyboard drinking my morning tea. It has been an interesting few days after this amazing #tedxsurrey life changing event, and it does feel different. The morning after the event I grabbed a shower and was no longer going over my script- the same was when I was driving, walking, when I was going home on the ferry- good thing I was wearing a mask on the way over as I was walking around the ferry saying my script- but yes, it feels different.
Wow- it has been an amazing 24 hours. This time yesterday we had just finished our presentations at #tedxsurrey and wow what a time it was…..wholly!!! It was amazing and I stepped on stage and it was magical and I loved it, and I nailed it!!!!!! OMG what a blast!!!! What a week it has been. I have been staying with friends and they have been wonderful and started celebrating “ME” long before the event- which was amazing, and even more amazing is being able to be present, be i
In 5 more sleeps – its show time! In some aspects that is hard to believe, and part of me is going “sleep, you think you are going to get sleep!” Yeah- we will see lol. In fact I hardly got any sleep last night. This has been a journey in so many ways. Yesterday I came over to Vancouver on the ferry, and I am nicely settled into the house of my dear friends. As the next day was scheduled to be rainy and cloudy, and we have had some very grey days, I decide to bundle up- warm up the car and go down to the beach to watch the sunrise. I went out to warm up the car and the moon wa
As I’m typing this, the tea is steeping in the pot. I have been drinking copious amounts of tea- I mean- a lot more then I normally drink. And I have appreciated every lovely cup. My brain and I have been on one wild ride! It’s been amazing, exhilarating, challenging and terrifying, with moments of laughter and surprise. Actually, it sounds very much like an Outward Bound Canada adventure. And like an Outward Bound Canada adventure- I am surprised how early on in the journey
